Never again I bought my vehicle here brand new, and it started having issues at 3,000 miles. The sales experience was slippery at best (trying to get a straight p I bought my vehicle here brand new, and it started having issues at 3,000 miles. The sales experience was slippery at best (trying to get a straight price from anyone was like pulling teeth) and I did not see the final total (to the penny) until they handed me a pen to sign for the car. The total was, shockingly, not what I'd been led to believe. The second I walked out the door, the weak impression of caring stopped altogether. I have taken it back numerous times for numerous issues, some new, some unfixed repeats, and been called a jerk, had it implied that I was a liar, had it implied that I was making up problems, and told that there was nothing wrong with a car they admitted to not doing anything to fix. I will fully admit that I have been visibly frustrated and less than chipper when going back time after time. I expect that most people would get irritated after spending $34,000 on a vehicle and it barely making it 3,000 miles without major malfunctions. I guess the joke is on me for spending $34,000 on a Hyundai. When the car does suffer an astronomically expensive failure, I will gladly let Harrisonburg attempt to fix it (it is their baby as far as I'm concerned, especially with the "lifetime" warranty (which I'm sure they'll try to get out of)). Otherwise, for my own sanity, I will take it elsewhere even though it's another hour of driving. While it is not their fault for selling a truly horrible product, it is their fault for failing 100% to stand behind it. To reiterate, this is a brand-new, fully loaded Hyundai with a corporate warranty and all. More

Great Experience Looking on-line for a used car we found a car of interest at Harrisonburg Ford. We live in Richmond Va 2 hours away, but it was worth the drive. David Cain was our salesperson and had the patience and expertise to determine exactly what car would best meet our needs. With his analysis he determined that for our needs, he could put us in a new Hyundai with a lifetime warranty on the drive train at less cost than the price of the used car we were looking at.. This caught us off guard and we needed another few days to research this new idea. He was low pressure and knew that after we did our research we would be calling him back. Sure enough, what he said was confirmed on the internet and we drove back to Harrisonburg Va to purchase a car that not only met our needs, but at a better price and better warranty than we could find in Richmond. Thanks again David Cain and we'll make sure to contact you for our next car. There were others at Hyundai that were also excellent that helped in the process such as Pat, Josh, Jay, and Jerry. We had lots of technical questions and between these people all our questions were answered. More

Wonderful Experience I first saw the car I wanted online, called the dealership and spoke with Antonio at Harrisonburg Honda. He was very kind and knowledgeable and even more so in person later that day. He was also extremely patient, answering the sometimes odd questions I had. We worked with Harrisonburg Hyundai to purchase the car and they were wonderful as well. The manager Scott and Josh, who walked us through the actual purchase were beyond patient and really helped make sure we could get the car despite odd circumstances. I could not speak more highly of both dealerships or of Antonio, Scott and Josh. My husband and I are now lifelong customers. I will be recommending them wherever I go. More

Excellent salesperson, vehicle and cost Patricia Whitley was an awesome sales rep to work with. She prepared very well when we visited, and had a couple of the cars we were interested in warmed up and out front, ready to test drive. She didn't pressure us at all, and made helpful suggestions. When we purchased the car and had paperwork to fill out, she timed the steps to save us time. She had people prepping the car while we worked on forms, and yet she was available to answer questions as they came up. I was impressed with her organization. Josh Shifflet made the financing portion easy. He found us a great package (better than other dealers in the area) and made his part of the buying process easy to work through. We were very happy to work with them on our car purchase. More

Integrity is everything First, shame on me for not being a thorough consumer. Had I been, two things would be true. 1.) I would not have bought the car. 2.) We would not know that the salesmen I worked with have no moral compass and zero integrity. The story. I bought my wife an 09 wrangler in January. What appeared to be a fair price as the vehicle was presented and the "personal" back story Jay and Josh had about the vehicle. Josh Shifflett was the sales person even though he normally does finance and Jay was the Sales Manager. The vehicle was worth what we paid, IF it had a clear title report. It did not, it was not disclosed, and no, I didn't ask. That is why their Integrity is garbage. NADA and KBB suggest that with a mechanical disablement from a rear impact, we should have paid about $3,000 less for retail. Hard to swallow. I am a better consumer because of this. Where is their moral principle and integrity as PEOPLE, job aside? Would they sell a vehicle that was unsafe? Most dealerships, nearly all reputable ones, wont even put a vehicle on the lot for sale with a major collision on the history report. Would they tell you they fixed or replaced something on a vehicle even though they didn't or there was nothing wrong with it in the first place? Wow, there are so many things that come into question. Infuriating! The sad thing is this. Myself and my wife felt personal connections with both Jay and Josh. Josh had shared some life experiences that my wife had. Jay is former Army, as am I. There is an acronym we followed in the Army for the 7 basic values. It still governs me to this day just because of how powerful it is when you think about it. It called LEADERSHIP. I know, neither of us are still in the service, but you would hope that this meant something lasting. L - Loyalty: Bear true faith and allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, the Army, your unit and other Soldiers D - Duty: Fulfill your obligations R - Respect: Treat people as they should be treated S - Selfless Service: Put the welfare of the nation, the Army, and your subordinates before your own H - Honor: Live up to all the Army values I - INTEGRITY: Do what’s right, legally and MORALLY P - Personal Courage: Face fear, danger, or adversity [physical or moral]. In summary, we were just taken advantage of. I know they probably sell tons of cars. They will remember who we are, I am not trying to hide that from them. I think everyone really wants honesty, unforced, upfront and unadulterated honesty. More
