I have purchased more than a dozen vehicles in my lifetime and I have to admit that this was one of my least favorite experiences. My daughter and I were there for a specific vehicle and we were lifetime and I have to admit that this was one of my least favorite experiences. My daughter and I were there for a specific vehicle and we were greeted by the salesman as we were walking up. The car was out quick, the test drive was 10 min and we took about 5 minutes looking it over afterwards...then ready to talk numbers. This is where things went south for me. It took 4.5 hours to buy the car. This part of the process has never taken more than 2 (MAYBE 3) hours from start to finish at any dealership I have ever been to previously, so 4.5 hours was absolutely absurd. My time is valuable to me and while I know buying a vehicle is going to take a lot of time, I also know what it's like to buy from a dealership who has people hustling to get it done as quickly as possible. My last 3 vehicles have come from the same dealership and each time my experience was excellent, so maybe comparing EchoPark to them isn't fair but I don't have complaints about any of the others. The manager who talked to me was friendly and to the point, which I appreciated. The salesman was knowledgeable and I appreciated this. However, he did give the impression that he was a top salesman and this sale wasn't that big of deal. He wasn't too invested in a customer relationship with me. My feelings aren't hurt but this doesn't inspire me to give 5 stars. More
