This was the first dealership I’ve encountered that tried to charge me for repairs and maintenance they completed after acquiring the vehicle for their lot. The vehicle was being sold as a Certified Pre-Owned, so I expected those inspections and repairs to already be part of the dealerships responsibility and reflected in the sale price. Instead, they provided a breakdown of services like an oil/filter change, tire rotation, new tires, and even $60 wiper blades, as if those expenses should be passed directly on to the buyer. The vehicle also had a crack in the windshield that we mentioned, yet the sales manager presented replacing it as though they were doing us a favor by covering the cost. Throughout the process, he repeatedly emphasized that we were “getting a deal” because they were only charging $891 for the maintenance, despite claiming the total work amounted to around $2000.
