Extremely disappointing experience after purchasing my vehicle on July 31st. Temporary tags expired on September 9th. A couple days before they expired I went to the dealership and spoke with associate Mi vehicle on July 31st. Temporary tags expired on September 9th. A couple days before they expired I went to the dealership and spoke with associate Michael Karnbach. He told me they could not issue a new temporary tag until the current one expired and that I would receive an email with new temporary tags once the originals expired. It is now September 11th and I still have nothing — no plates, no title, no registration in the mail, and no email with temporary tags. I’m stuck at home on a Friday unable to drive the car I bought over a month ago. When I contacted the MVD on September 7th, they informed me this dealership uses a third-party vendor for their paperwork and that the vendor did not even submit the paperwork until September 1st. This directly contradicts what Michael told me earlier — that the paperwork is filed electronically the moment the agreements are signed at the dealership. The lack of communication, the conflicting information, and the complete failure to follow through have turned what should have been a straightforward purchase into a major headache. I would never recommend this dealership. Shop anywhere else — even out of state if you have to — but avoid this place at all costs. More
