Stereotypical used car dealer I went into this with two questions would I buy a car from the internet and would a buy a car from Sky Motors. My conclusion, I bought a used car from a used car dealer. Don't let the high end cars fool you into thinking that they are any different than the car dealer down the street. They are a used a car dealer. On the positive side, everyone we talked to was very nice. Communication was swift. When I first made an offer on the car, Justin, the salesperson, responded quickly with some of the usual our-cars-are-great mumbo jumbo to justify his response that the price was firm. The usual used car dealer speak, not a problem. The very next day I looked at the ad again. The car was $1000 cheaper. I sent another offer which this time was accepted. Before driving the two hours to pick up the car, I emailed Justin more than once asking several times of any issues not disclosed in the description like the car being raced, bodywork, etc. Nothing. Nada. No mention. The worst part - they sold me a car with scratches in the driver's door - serious scratches that looked like someone keyed several vertical lines and a few horizontal lines. They had 71 photos of the car on the internet. Nowhere was there any mention of the scratches. To shorten this part of the review, I will say Brett, the owner of the company, and I disagreed on how to handle the situation. There was no arguing or yelling or anything of the sort, but he would have like things handled differently and so would I. That happens in business. Here's the bottom line. They paid for 2/3 of the repair. They are, by their own admission, a high end, high volume car dealer and they couldn't or should I say wouldn't cover another $150 for a repair that was never disclosed. A repair I had to find myself. Also on the negative side, the car I traded, a red BMW Z3, had been in an accident. I disclosed this in email to Justin. A deer ran into the side of the car, so the hood was replaced. Also, even before I bought that car, it had paint work, as evidenced by the over-spray in the engine area. Still, Sky Motors did not disclose this in their ads, probably because it doesn't show up on the Carfax. This is disconcerting because while I was standing in their lobby area, I overheard the owner telling a young customer that they didn't sell cars that had been in accidents. Clearly, not true. So, would I buy from them again or buy a car from the internet again? I don't know. What I have learned is to do my due diligence and be even more careful because wolves often wear sheep's clothing. More

I recently purchased a m235i from Sky Motor Cars. The experience I had dealing with these guys was an all around pleasant one. They all were great to deal with and made the process so smooth. I spent about a hour and 15 min spread between two days on the whole process. Fastest and easiest time I've ever had buying a car. They even sold me the car at a cheaper price I had seen online when the car had been relisted at a higher price with no questions asked. They even we're willing to extend their typical time frame when the check from my bank was delayed in the mail. Justin was fantastic with in person and over email, emailing back after work hours to send me the Carfax again and the original listing photos of my new m235i. He has also offered numorous times to meet us after hours to pick up the car as he knew we were coming about 2 hours and my schedule was not simple to work around. The car is beautiful and I love it thank you guys from making the purchase experience of it such a great one!! More
