I purchased a 2015 Ford F-250 6. 7L Power Stroke from Certified Autoplex for $25,856.51, including ceramic coating, and paid to have it transported from Dallas to Mississippi. Within about 5 miles of pickup, the truck began losing power and shutting down. Metro Ford diagnosed a major fuel-system failure with metal fragments throughout the system. My final repair bill was $15,156.38. Given how quickly it failed and the extent of the contamination, I believe the failure had already begun before the truck was shipped, although I cannot prove exactly when it started. I tried to resolve this privately. My salesman, Fabio, told me I would receive a $500 check and a $900 maintenance plan. Neither arrived. Management later offered to repair the truck in Dallas, but that offer came on September 3, 2026 — after the truck had already been repaired and billed locally on August 31. I asked Certified Autoplex to contribute $4,500 toward a repair bill exceeding $15,000. We were unable to reach an agreement. I am not claiming they knew the truck would fail. I am stating what happened. Nearly $26,000 for the truck. About 5 miles of driving. $15,156.38 in repairs. Prospective buyers can decide for themselves whether this was handled appropriately. More
