Experience was okay getting a test drive on the vehicle. After that wasn't great. Kelvin was helping other people and rather than have one of the other sales associates help us, we had to wait for him, pr After that wasn't great. When discussing the price, we came to an agreement and were told it would be about an hour to get paperwork and everything singed. Ended up being 2 1/2 hours and honestly it wasn't that busy. We also signed on an agreed price which then changed unexpected in the finance office. If we were not so tired and aggregated by that point we would have made it a bigger point to redo all the paperwork but we just wanted to be done. More

I am leaving this review to accurately document my experience with Corwin Toyota in Colorado Springs. I purchased a used 2016 Ford Explorer from this dealership. The vehicle drove for three days befor experience with Corwin Toyota in Colorado Springs. I purchased a used 2016 Ford Explorer from this dealership. The vehicle drove for three days before becoming completely undriveable and has remained at a Ford dealership service center since then. The vehicle has presented multiple major mechanical and electrical failures, including: • Transmission issues • Engine performance issues • Multiple system codes • Electrical system faults requiring an engine wiring harness replacement As of today, I have paid approximately $4,000 out-of-pocket for repairs, with an additional $1,600 repair estimate pending, not including the cost of a rental vehicle required due to the Explorer being inoperable. I also purchased the premium extended coverage package through Corwin. Every repair claim submitted has been denied, and the warranty has paid $0 toward any repairs. I have made numerous attempts to contact the dealership, specifically the Kelvin Boatey, the representative who facilitated the sale. Despite initial acknowledgment and a statement that the situation would be looked into, I have received no further communication or follow-up. I acknowledge that the vehicle was sold as-is. However, service records obtained directly from Phil Long Ford show that the same symptoms existed prior to my purchase, and the vehicle had already been sent out for diagnosis related to these issues. This indicates that Corwin had knowledge of the vehicle’s condition before the sale. While my initial sales interaction was courteous and professional, the overall handling of this situation, particularly the lack of communication and refusal to engage in any resolution, has been disappointing. I am documenting this experience publicly to ensure transparency and to encourage better consumer communication practices in the future. More
