If I could give this dealership a negative rating, I absolutely would. If you enjoy a dealership with more stories than Walt Disney, then Stream Auto Outlet in Amityville is the perfect place to get absolutely would. If you enjoy a dealership with more stories than Walt Disney, then Stream Auto Outlet in Amityville is the perfect place to get scammed. This place is loaded with shady fees—including a mysterious $4,000 charge they kept changing the story about, and a $2,000 “reconditioning fee” that was a complete joke. The vehicles were greasy, the oil hadn’t been changed, and the cars weren’t even properly cleaned. Beware of “accidental price mistakes”. I personally saw their computer screens showing different prices than what was listed online. Sales reps like Alfredo, and assistant manager Favian, threw around made-up numbers and gave inconsistent explanations. Yes, it’s a used car lot—but even for that, their inventory is low quality and wildly overpriced. I looked at three cars: • A 2014 Toyota Avalon, which wasn’t even on the lot. After waiting 45 minutes for them to bring it from “down the road,” it arrived smoking from under the engine and showed significant exterior wear and tear. • A 2018 Honda Civic with obvious exterior damage and no proper alignment—it literally pulled to the side of the road during the test drive. That “reconditioning fee”? Complete nonsense. • A 2022 Honda CR-V originally listed at $24,500. Had they been honest, I might’ve made a deal—but somehow, that price ballooned to $38,000. When I called them out and questioned the pricing (especially after they began comparing it to new car prices), they scrambled in Favian’s office and suddenly brought it “down” to $32,000 out the door. Who are they trying to fool? Bottom line: avoid this dealership unless you’re in the market to be ripped off. Overpriced, low-quality vehicles, dishonest pricing, and unprofessional sales tactics. This place is a scam. More
