Frustrated with books from manufacturer Excellent automobile,but the owners manual needs major effort to provide more cross references and multiple indices on increasing levels of granularit Excellent automobile,but the owners manual needs major effort to provide more cross references and multiple indices on increasing levels of granularity to allow the user to look up features using common terms.For instance, I spent over a half hour trying to look up in the indices simply "turn signals"!!! Tried using "t" and "s" for "signal" and "d" for "directional" to no avail. My experience is that across many products,not just automobiles, the index is created by persons too familiar with the product and cannot come at it from the point of view of an outsider looking for a particular item using commonly used terminology. Another example ,I tried to look up "curtains" for the rear windows ,looking under "c" and "w" but they are listed under "r" for rear. Would be happy to discuss with someone who writes these books. Overall very pleased with the car,but the literature is obtuse and frustrating.Pictures are nice though More
