Great Experience!!!!!!!! I traveled 2 hours to look at my new car. Before doing so I Emailed back and forth about the car I was looking at and my trade in. This included bringing in the one I wanted from another dealership. In the process, we realized Robb and I went to high school together! Wonderful Experience thanks to Kori Parker My wife and I had an interest on a vehicle that was at Barker Motor Co. in Bloomington. When we arrived we were greeted by a very humble salesman. He My wife and I had an interest on a vehicle that was at Barker Motor Co. in Bloomington. When we arrived we were greeted by a very humble salesman. He introduced himself and had the vehicle we called about already pulled to the front. He introduced himself with a welcoming smile, solid eye contact and a nice assuring handshake as if we were old fiends. That is how you make an introduction. Kori Parker seemed first class from the start. Upon the test drive Kori made my wife and I feel very relaxed about the experience. No hassle and no salesman jargon that we had experienced for the past week while on the hunt for that perfect vehicle. Kori answered all of our question and we were so pleased we purchased that day. Well upon our first 24 hours of owning the vehicle we had experienced a few things that seemed a little off about the vehicle itself. Nothing major at all. Just minor things that we felt could be better. So we called Kori. "No problem, bring it in and we will take a look". So we made the trip back to barker. Well upon arrival the issues weren't present. Maybe it was just a fluke and most likely the case. Kori Had the vehicle looked with a full diagnostic test and even a lengthy test drive. the issue was not there. Kori offered three options for us. We could take the vehicle home and feel rest assured because we purchased the additional warranty (darn near a full package bumper to bumper), he could let us out of the deal or option three... he could get us in to something different. He actually went to bat for us with his GM. He truly wanted us to be happy (Remember that introduction, well right there it was proven to be genuine). Well before you knew he has us in a beautiful newer and nicer vehicle. Yes it cost a little extra but still well below NADA book value. We took it home for a test drive. Kori called us a few hours later to see how we liked it. Tomorrow was his day off so he wanted to make sure we were happy. My wife and I both looked at each other and smiled. We then both simultaneously replied that we were very happy. The next morning we made our decision. We called Barker and made the trip back. When we got there Kori was waiting for us. He even brought in his daughter who was extremely polite and even held out 2 month old daughter while we spoke. This man took time away from his family to make sure we would have the best experience possible. We signed on the dotted line without hesitation. Kori was honest, upfront and was a breath of fresh air from the saleman experiences we had to deal with prior to meeting him. Next time you wanna buy a vehicle, before you go searching the web...
