In June i took my 2019 VW Atlas (which I purchased there) in for servicing because the wheel was shaking when making a turn over 30mph. I told them I noticed the issue after i got new tires at a different st in for servicing because the wheel was shaking when making a turn over 30mph. I told them I noticed the issue after i got new tires at a different store. They assumed it needed an alignment & tires balanced. I also agreed to a few upgrades that ended up taking my bill to $800. After I got the car back it was still having the same issue but WORSE. Brought it back in the following week for them to look at it again and this time it needed a 3k part replacement. Clearly no one took the car for a drive before or after the first service to see if the wheel was still shaking. Basically I spent $800 for nothing because they were too lazy to see if the problem was actually fixed. Now, a month later, I hear something rattling when I go over bumps and have to take it back in. I have no confidence that this wont be another money grab. I've owned VWs for YEARS and this Atlas is probably my last because of the service department. More

I had an appointment booked for my car with service, scheduled for 7:45am. We dropped the car off with one of the service staff the prior afternoon. At around 1:30pm on the scheduled service day, I text scheduled for 7:45am. We dropped the car off with one of the service staff the prior afternoon. At around 1:30pm on the scheduled service day, I texted my advisor asking if he had a status on my vehicle. About 45 minutes later he replied “not yet”. By 4pm I had heard nothing back so I called. At that time he told me they had not even taken my car back. At no time during that day did he reach out to me and explain they weee behind. I understand staffing shortages with mechanics but that should never prevent the advisor from maintaining a good line of communication on status. Perhaps they didn’t want to take on warranty work since they don’t get paid for it. Either way, it was an unacceptable occurrence. I had someone take me over to get my car and explained my frustration. He did apologize for the lack of effort on his part, but I don’t think we’ll go back. I still have no resolution. I made sure not to display any anger but did let him know what he did wasn’t right. More
