Working with Doug Clark, aka ‘The Mazda Man’, was a fun and easeful experience, and I felt no pressure to make any hasty decisions – all descriptions I’d never think I’d be using to describe a car leasing experience! Doug took the time to understand what my needs were in a car, my budget, and my wishes for driving over the next few years. He explained some of Mazda’s models and car features in ways that were digestible and accessible for someone like me – who knows not much at all about cars. I really appreciated his transparency, warmth, and genuine desire for me to find a car that fit my needs. From start to finish, Doug was such a pleasure to work with – where I’d expect pushiness and lack of clarity in a process like getting a car, there was nothing but ease, no-stress, and positivity from start to finish. This was also true of working with Paul Dumas on the business side of my lease, who was clear, transparent, and took the time to explain everything to me. What’s more, when I came into the dealership along with my mom to check out car models, Doug helped my mom with a major car issue she was having by graciously connecting her with the Mazda service department (and my mom doesn’t even have a Mazda). I was blown away by the care and customer service. The day I went to pick up my car, Doug even had the car parked back in the showroom to talk me through more details in real time and ensure that I understood each and every feature. I felt so comfortable, safe, and truly excited to start driving when leaving the dealership that day. Everyone at Mazda Westwood (Doug, Paul, and team) was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about my satisfaction. My experience with Doug especially reflected that he really cares about building great relationships with his clients, not just making a sale. I’m so grateful for all his help and would recommend working with 'The Mazda Man' again in a heartbeat. More
