Loyd Nelson

Loyd Nelson has been with Red River Chevrolet for over 16 years! During his time here, he has held many positions. He has been a Salesperson, Assistant Finance & Insurance Manager, as well as New Car Sales Manager. Loyd is currently our New Truck Sales Manager. It is safe to say that with all of Loyd’s experience, he is very knowledgeable about the auto industry. Loyd currently lives in Minden, LA with his wife of over 20 years, Laura. They have two daughters together, Chandler and Meredith. When he is not working, Loyd enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, playing guitar and being involved in his church. Loyd’s outgoing and humorous personality make him an extremely pleasant person to be around. Don’t be surprised if you catch him on stage singing with his guitar!
