I purchased a 2021 Acura RDX certified pre-owned from this dealer in November of 2024. Trading in my car, I was met with a great salesman and sales manager that worked with my trade, downpayment, and got this dealer in November of 2024. Trading in my car, I was met with a great salesman and sales manager that worked with my trade, downpayment, and got me quickly approved within my monthly requirements. Fast forward to March of 2026. I went to explore trading this vehicle in for something else and was told by a different dealer that this car had an accident. According to Montclair Acura in 2024, the car came in off lease, was certified pre-owned, had only 1 owner, a clean Carfax, and no accidents. Montclair Acura never told me that the car was in an accident. Montclair Acura also had me sign a damage disclosure on this 21 RDX stating that the dealership has no knowledge of prior damage, defects, or repairs as part of the standard paperwork. According to the dealer I was looking to purchase from, this Acura was in a serious accident in 2023 that required towing. How can a dealer sell a car as certified pre-owned if it was in a serious prior accident? How can a dealer sell a car as certified pre-owned without being required to disclose a prior accident? How can a dealer issue a 505 damage disclosure and not be aware of a prior accident? How can a certified pre-owned vehicle be involved in a serious accident and still be certified per Acura standards? I would NEVER buy a used car, certified pre-owned or not, with an accident history! Now I am screwed with a car I cannot trade because of a severely depreciated value. This dealer participates in non-ethical practices, and I am certified angry. Buyer beware. Ask, ask, ask before doing business here. More

My recent purchase of a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 from DCH Montclair Acura on 08/30/2025. After carefully reviewing my signed Buyer’s Order, I discovered that several additional products and services were DCH Montclair Acura on 08/30/2025. After carefully reviewing my signed Buyer’s Order, I discovered that several additional products and services were added to my contract without my knowledge or consent. The unauthorized add-ons include: Lifetime Oil Change – $1,500 Nitro – $399 Theft Protection / ETCH – $499 Perma Plate – $1,023 These products were never explained, discussed, or approved by me at the time of purchase. This is a serious concern, as these unauthorized charges have increased the total cost of my vehicle by $3,421 BE CAREFUL!!! More
