

Marshall Jespersen's track to the automotive business would not be considered traditional by many. In 1961, he graduated from Greenwich High School in Greenwich, CT, earned a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Connecticut in Storrs in 1966. He proceeded to serve in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1974, stationed in Southeast Asia and Europe, and held jobs at Clairol in Stamford, CT, Dow Chemical Company in Tarrytown, NY and the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers in Hubbardston, MA before joining the automotive industry. Upon joining the automotive industry, he decided to join NADA 20 Groups to learn from the talented and experienced people across the country. In addition to the 20 Groups, he decided to get his M.B.A. from the University of New Hampshire.
