If I didn't know any better I'd think my purchase was the first sale this dealership ever made. The amount of rudimentary mistakes they made, combined with the dishonesty and deception made for the most baff first sale this dealership ever made. The amount of rudimentary mistakes they made, combined with the dishonesty and deception made for the most baffling purchasing experience I've ever been a part of. It boggles the mind that in the year 2025 we still have dealerships trying to sneak extended warranties by the customer, but that's exactly what happened. We agreed on a number, and when I went back to finance that number was magically $6,100 higher. Come to find out they tride to hide an extended warranty in the deal without asking, and they had no plans of ever doing so. Anyone who wasn't experienced with car purchases or was not paying attention to detail would likely not have noticed. That was the headline, but this dealership showed their incompetence at every step of the process. -The "team" that handled financing took almost six hours to get the deal done. I was working with a GMC dealer simultaneously who had a deal done and finalized for a much more expensive truck, and at the exact terms I asked for, in less than an hour. When I confronted a manager at the dealership about this, his only response was to ask why I didn't buy the GMC. Lack of accountability frequently starts at the top and it appears this is definitely the case at Laird Noller Ford. -The dealership asked me to come in and finalize the deal without bothering to tell me they were trying to sell me a truck they didnt have on the lot, and made no effort to make that truck available for me to look at. Then, they promised to have it available "first thing in the morning". The truck didn't arrive until about 10:30 the next day and wasn't gassed up and "detailed" until closer to 1pm. -Speaking of the "detail", I still have no idea what the truck looks like clean. It was covered in dirt and sticker residue when I came back to the dealership for the third time in two days to finally test drive the truck I had "bought" the day prior. -The entire deal took almost a week to finalize, with the dealership calling or emailing us every day to ask for something they "forgot" to get from us or having to fix errors they made with the paperwork. We even had our names spelled wrong on the contracts. The worst part about all of this is the consistent poor attitudes from everyone I worked with (except my salesman, who was awesome). Every time we had an issue, they responded with a "take the deal or leave" attitude. As I stated earlier, accountability starts at the top and there's clearly none of that on hand at Laird Noller Ford. I can't recommend anyone come to this store for any reason - sales, parts, or service - because there is zero trust or accountability to be found anywhere. More
