Hello Mr. Ernst, So first off .. let me sincerely apologize for the troubles you had with your truck. Certainly no one wants to deal with that, and we do our very best to try to either ensure it does not happen or we do what we can when it does. I offer you again the opportunity to sit down and discuss the matter and how we ended up here. I have all the diagnostic information that led to your battery replacement. A battery test is a pass or fail test .. yours failed. At that time there was no issue we could come up with on the starter. The starter operated fine and gave no indication of it being bad. So sadly .. there was no preventing the issue that arose with the starter. We got the vehicle in right away and Josh provided you with a loaner. An awful situation that we did the best we could to manage for you in a timely manner. So again .. I apologize for your inconvenience. We pride ourselves on how we treat our customers and enjoy relationships with them that for some have lasted almost 40 years. We try to go the extra mile for all involved. So to go over your points one by one .. Poor customer service: A loaner vehicle was provided, the vehicle was brought in promptly and fixed. Poor Diagnostic Service: The battery was tested and shown to have failed. Thus, it was replaced. The vehicle was then operating normally. Sadly, there is no real way to diagnose a bad starter if it is operating properly. It later failed and was replaced. Rude Managers: At no time will it be acceptable to treat our customers rudely. Our customers are what keeps us in business and we appreciate them and will help them whenever possible. However unacceptable treatment of our staff will also not be tolerated. Again .. I would love nothing more than to sit down and talk about this and invite you to get in touch. We feel there is no problem that we can't solve together. I wish you well and success in the future either way you decide to go. You get to decide where you go for vehicles and service and I get that. More importantly I don't take that for granted.
