I just received my Mini that I bought preowned from Matt. The car is in excellent condition, I bought it all the way from New York. Stay away! Shady empty promises! Worst BMW dealer ever!! I spent over $88,000 on a Certified Pre Owned X7 and I have an entire page of “we owe” paper work of th Shady empty promises! Worst BMW dealer ever!! I spent over $88,000 on a Certified Pre Owned X7 and I have an entire page of “we owe” paper work of things that are under CONTRACT to be fixed by the dealership. I continue to call but they won’t return my calls. I even reached out to corporate BMW for support. I bought the X7 in February. This car was advertised on the website tons of pictures of it ready to go on the lot from the website. Pictures from their website of it for sale are below. When I arrived to look at it, I had to wait 45 minutes for them to find it because it wasn’t on the lot. They proceed to then tell me the sunroof won’t open or close but they can still sell me the vehicle. I found several other things wrong with the car to which they said no problem they will take care of them. This is a CERTIFIED PRE OWNED it goes through an inspection and has to be certified though BMW NA in order to be sold as Certified. They couldn’t even provide me the certification paper work which tells what has been done to the car along with the inspection report. So Here we are now the end of May, almost June and they still won’t call me back. Also they tack on what’s called a “Pro Package” that’s an extra $2,000 added on top the price you think you are getting. So $2,000 more than the advertised price but you don’t see this price increase until you sit down with them. To do paper work. This pro package is supposed to consist of paint and fabric protection and nitrogen inflation in the tires. Well it wasn’t done to my X7 yet they said, so I asked for them to take that off the price of the car and they said they couldn’t and it would be done when I bring the car in for the “we owe” items! On top of that they didn’t even finance me through BMW financial services which I always do at bmw dealerships because I have top tier credit and I qualify for their incentives such as loyalty credit which is at least $500 off the price of the car. They tried to act like they didn’t know what that was! It’s right on BMW’s website. Well they financed me through a bank I’ve never heard of so they couldn’t let me use the loyalty credit and they didn’t even tell me my interest rate which is illegal!! I had to call the finance manger on my way home to get the number. On my way home I went though the iDrive to look at the service history and it was red saying it needed a brake fluid service and an oil change I figured the tech did it and just forgot to reset the service function so I went to my local BMW service department to check and do a key read to see if they have been done and my service advisor said NO the brake fluid flush and oil change has not been done! How did they even list this X7 for sale as CERTIFIED? It wasn’t even serviced let alone reconditioned and ready to be sold!! I am furious!! More
