I originally had a very good experience purchasing my Porsche 911 from Pro Motorcars and gave good review. Unfortunately, my experience changed completely when I later approached them about a buyback. Porsche 911 from Pro Motorcars and gave good review. Unfortunately, my experience changed completely when I later approached them about a buyback. I paid approximately $85,000 all-in, including tax, registration and dealer/doc fees. After approximately 1,000 additional miles, I contacted the dealership about buying the car back. I was initially offered $70,000, which I considered reasonable and was prepared to accept. After several days of unanswered calls and messages, I followed up again by text and eventually arranged an appointment. When I went in, I was told registration had already been completed and that the buyback offer was now only $61,000. Based on the DMV status I independently checked, registration had not actually been completed at that point. I had also spent approximately $1,400 addressing maintenance and other items on the vehicle. Unfortunately, after I updated my review, I received a phone call from the dealership in which I was threatened with statements that he would "xxxx up my life," my business and my cars, that he knew my address, and that I should "watch what happens to your cars." This is far beyond a disagreement over a vehicle or price. A business transaction should never become personal or involve threats against a customer's life, business, family or property. I am preserving the text messages, call records and other documentation relating to this matter. This 1-star review is based on my subsequent firsthand experience. I would not recommend this dealership based on how this situation was ultimately handled. More
