In over 30 years of dealing with car dealerships, this was by far the most unprofessional, dishonest, and frustrating experience I have ever had. We negotiated a walk out the door price of $28,000.00 for was by far the most unprofessional, dishonest, and frustrating experience I have ever had. We negotiated a walk out the door price of $28,000.00 for a white Chevy van with Max Dragone. During the test drive, the vehicle clearly needed an alignment. We were told the dealership would provide the alignment with Town Fair Tires but we must purchase the vehicle that night and take it off the lot. We agreed based on that promise. During the purchase of the vehicle, we requested the vehicle be registered as a passenger vehicle. We also gave them our previous license plates and registration which were also passenger. After a month of asking and not having a registered car— we learned it was sold as a commercial vehicle which caused serious complications for us. When we raised concerns, we were told it was not the dealership’s responsibility to understand New York state DMV requirements. We were essentially forced into a commercial registration that did not meet our needs. They were told from the beginning and given the necessary documents and plates that clearly indicate our registration and plates were solely for passenger vehicles. Communication was extremely poor with management. Calls and messages went unanswered for nearly a month. We eventually drove an hour to the dealership in Danbury just to get a response on why the vehicle hadn’t been registered. We waited another hour for assistance in the dealership. The most troubling part of this experience was our interaction with Vincent Carangelo of Blasius Mitsubishi. Instead of helping resolve the situation, he screamed and yelled at me and my father over the phone, stating that what was done was done and he did not care about our concerns. He spoke to us in a rude, hostile tone and even said he would refuse to sell us a vehicle in the future. This is completely unacceptable customer service. Nobody tried to help us. Everyone who took our calls would pretend to show initiative. However, no one responded to email or phone calls with action, expertise, and proper customer service. This dealership demonstrated dishonesty, lack of knowledge in vehicle sales and registration, poor communication, and extremely unprofessional behavior. We were not helped over the phone and repeatedly had to drive out of our way just to get basic answers. I would strongly caution others before doing business here. More
