Hello ,my name is Mel Horst.I have been selling cars for Conestoga Motors since 2000.My style of sales is more low key,no pressure,because that is the way I prefer to be treated.I enjoy getting to know people and helping them purchase a vehicle. I am married and we are blessed with 5 awesome children,and 9 awesome grand children.I am involved with and attend a local community church in Leola Pa. My hobbies consist of doing things with my wife,my children,and grand children. I also like to fish,and ride bike,go to car and truck shows.I can enjoy a good semi or tractor pull also. I’ve purchased every car I’ve owned since 1997 from Gerry Sensenig and Conestoga Motors, and… I will never buy a future vehicle from anyone other than Gerry Sensenig. I was looking for a specific car for a while, and living in the Philadelphia area, there are plenty of options. During my search, I found the vehicle I wanted at Conestoga Motors. After reaching out and exc in the Philadelphia area, there are plenty of options. During my search, I found the vehicle I wanted at Conestoga Motors. After reaching out and exchanging emails for a few days, I decided to make the trip to Ephrata—a place I had never been—to test drive the car. The vehicle was exactly as described, and the attention to detail in preparing it was impressive. After a quick test drive, I sealed the deal and drove away in less than an hour. I also had the pleasure of having a wholesome conversation with Mel and a few others in the office as Mel finalized the paperwork. Being born and raised in Texas, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of connecting with others that I would not have met if I was not buying this car. I HIGHLY recommend driving to Conestoga Motors to get a vehicle. What had taken me months to finalize, Conestoga Motors accomplished by being authentic, honest, friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. I love my vehicle. I would definitely go back to them when the time arises, and I will definitely recommend them to others. More

This has been one of the best experiences with purchasing a vehicle I have ever had. Mel was open and honest and just a pleasure to chat with. My family and I had the most amazing experience with Mel at Conestoga Motors. I have never felt so comfortable and filled with peace making a large purchase. Mel didn't try to "sell" us anything or push an at Conestoga Motors. I have never felt so comfortable and filled with peace making a large purchase. Mel didn't try to "sell" us anything or push anything on us. He was genuine and honest and took time to get to know us, even our 9 yr old daughter..who was such a trooper through it all. Not only did I get to leave with the car I wanted, at the price I was hoping for but this incredible man offered to pray over my family and this new car before we drove away. As a family of faith, we knew from the moment we walked in we were meant to be there, meant to meet Mel, and purchase this exact car. I left in tears, tears of joy and feeling the goodness of God. We didn't get to work much with Gerry, the other salesman, but he was kind, helpful and had a similar peaceful demeanor about him. I would 1000% recommend this dealership and am beyond grateful for thi truly beautiful experience. More
