I will start off by saying our sales person whom I initial spoke w/ was pleasant and polite. After that the whole experience went downhill......and I would never ever buy a car from them. The cat and mouse game one always has to play is frustrating and offensive. My wife and I drove up from Illinois to look at a Kia Telluride. We test drove the car...and actually had no issues w/ it..... My main question was....is this car CPO...(Certified Pre-Owned) ...Basically meaning if CPO'd I will get the remainder of the warranty.....like if I was the original owner.. I asked if that was the case before I drove up and I was assured it was. The problem started when the used sales manager got involved. Typical stereotype of a used car salesman applies to him. I asked for the Carfax...which I was given...and when I looked at it....I made a comment to my wife....oh look...this car was manufactured in Canada....Newfoundland to be exact....I looked up and asked the Sales Manager again....is this CPO'd....and I was assured again it was.... Long story short....He said this car has a lot of interest...u should act now.....I explained that I had trade-ins..well....put $1K down and we will hold the car for 24 hrs.....and finish the deal tomorrow. He then asked what attracted us to this car...and I explained that I had test driven the Telluride before....and when we saw this one w/ low miles.....we drove up... All of sudden...his attitude changed and he said I can't hold it for u.....if you want....u need to buy it now....or I will have to sell it to someone else... I got up and left....... To me this showed me his integrity was skewed. I ended not buying the car for two reasons: 1.) Turns out u can't CPO a car from Canada. 2.) I didn't like his B.S....and I didn't want him to win. We did end up buying a Telluride at another dealer...And they have earned our business for further car purchases. If I could have given a 0 star rating I would. More
