The most pleasant experience I have had buying a car! I had such a pleasant experience with Frank, that I drove from Charlottesville to Valley Subaru in order to purchase my new Ascent. He led me to drive over to Valley Subaru, which otherwise I might not have done, to see what was there. Quite quickly we decided to accept Valley Subaru's quote. In this process, Frank Smith went well beyond what I expected, especially since he spent a couple of hours with me the day after the sale, when I came in to pick up the vehicle. Frank showed me many of its features and made sure I was comfortable with it before I drove it home. I last bought a vehicle in 2003, and obviously many things have been added to vehicles since then. Also, the paperwork went very smoothly, thanks to the efforts of several people at the dealership. In short, I was happy with both the vehicle I bought and with the process of buying it. Allan More

Honest and quick to give a good deal! I worked with Kaleb. He was willing to give me a quote that was the most competitive after I had checked with 15 different dealers in a 100 mile radiu I worked with Kaleb. He was willing to give me a quote that was the most competitive after I had checked with 15 different dealers in a 100 mile radius of where I live. After bargaining with a dealer closer to home, that deal fell through because they couldn't locate the car I wanted. But Kaleb came back with a lower bid and the exact car I wanted. He made it an easy decision for me to buy my car at Valley Subaru! More

USAA Car Buying Service Worked Exactly as Advertised Matt did a great sales job. We were in the dealership unannounced several times over several months, and Matt was not always there. Billy and Michae Matt did a great sales job. We were in the dealership unannounced several times over several months, and Matt was not always there. Billy and Michael stepped in and helped make the sales experience an overall excellent one. The USAA Car Buying service is the way to go, at least from this buyer's perspective. It relieved a lot of the pressure of buying a new car. Matt answered all our questions and was very efficient in processing the final paperwork. Maher was similarly efficient in finalizing the financing and optional services. Overall, nothing could have gone better. NOTE: we bought our first Subaru from your dealership, and were pleased with the car. One of your biggest sales incentives for returning customers, however is Carmen in the Service Department. She is a treasure--knowledgeable, friendly, engaging, thorough, etc. We may have been able to find a better deal in the region, but Carmen brought us back to your store. More

Calling ahead, a car was ready for me to look at as soon as I arrived. Michael was incredibly knowledgeable- he talked about the car, answered all of my questions, and highlighted everything I needed to know to make a decision. The dealership was incredibly clean and accommodated my 3 year old daughter as well. Strongly recommend the dealership to anyone looking. More

Once it was clear I was not going to buy, I was toast. Went to this dealer for a 2017 Subaru because it had 0% financing. They told me ahead of time they had no 2017's in the model I wanted but was told to Went to this dealer for a 2017 Subaru because it had 0% financing. They told me ahead of time they had no 2017's in the model I wanted but was told to come in anyway, they could make it work. Thinking they would get one from another dealership, I drove the 45 minutes to check it out. They had no 2017's of the model I wanted, but I test drove two 2018's anyway. When we couldn't reach a deal on the 2018 model, (he seemed annoyed about that) I handed the salesman the coupon for a $50 VISA gift card, and immediately had the feeling he was not going to do anything with it. It has been a month and speaking to the salesman, he suggested it was in my spam folder and there was nothing he could do about it if I deleted it. If this is how this dealership does business, I will not return. It's not the $50, it the lack of regard I was treated with all around. More
