Excellent experience with Mike lis and good with Gene Shenkm Dear Bob Rohrman, As a loyal customer of Schaumburg Honda, we always had very good experience ever since we purchased 5 new cars in the past 40 year Dear Bob Rohrman, As a loyal customer of Schaumburg Honda, we always had very good experience ever since we purchased 5 new cars in the past 40 years. We always received fair prices and excellent service in working with general managers and the service department. However, on our recent 6th new car purchased our experience was not all that good due to the sales person to whom we were assigned and a serious problem with our new car that our salesman should have known about. As we drove the car home, we noticed a very strong gasoline smell coming from the trunk and inside the car that no one could tolerate. In fact, we had to open the garage door for hours to get rid of the gasoline smell. Later on, when we brought car back to the Dealer, the Dealer discovered that someone spilled gasoline inside the trunk while he or she were filling gas tank and the smell stayed inside the car, and specially the trunk for several days. But, we thanks the General Manager Gene Shenkman who agreed to give us another new car instead and assigned us to work with Mike Lis who has excellent experience on new cars. We were lucky to work with Mike. He is a very friendly, honest, trust worthy, and knowledgeable in new Car Delivery specialist. I would highly recommend Mike for new car Specialist. We have and will continue recommending Schaumburg Honda for family and friends; hopefully, this recent experience will not happen again. Thank You Edward Yonan More
