When I purchased my used 2021 Tahoe there were a few minor dents and scratches.. The used car manager Michael was very sincere and offered to make the corrections on behalf of Naples. We called the dealership on a Thursday to return a leased vehicle and purchase a 1500 truck. He told us one of their other dealerships had taken one in and it would be detailed and sent to the dealership we vehicle and purchase a 1500 truck. He told us one of their other dealerships had taken one in and it would be detailed and sent to the dealership we were at. On Friday I received a text and a phone call because he felt this particular truck would not be a good fit for us. He then told us he had Tahoe that would be perfect, however it was $10,000 more than we wanted to spend. He assured us that he would be able to make the deal work at our price and where we wanted our payments to be. We returned to the dealership and looked at the truck. Two hours later we were discussing the pricing. After the final numbers were given, he was supposed to take off an additional $1000. At the end of this discussion they took off the $1000, but they had to add money to cover plates and other things which totaled $500. Almost three hours later, he told us we would be out of there in 30 minutes. Two and a half additional hours later, we were exhausted and hungry. This is when they took us to the finance office, At that point neither of us would even sit down because we needed to get out of there. We informed the finance officer that we did not want to pay for the plates because as a veteran, there should be no cost for the plates. He told us he couldn't transfer the plates from a lease to a purchase - which we found is not true when we went to the DMV. The problem was that they never provided us the deal they said they would give us and they charged us for plates we didn't need to pay for. I was exhausted and hungry so I signed the papers at that time. Overall, bad dealership in our opinion. In addition, get pre-approved at a credit union before going to any dealership because a loan from the dealership will cost you a lot more in the end. More
