Hi Red squirrel, We’re sorry to hear about the frustration surrounding the extended repair time. We understand how difficult it is to have your vehicle in service for an extended period, even while having a loaner available. That said, we do want to clarify that the vehicle was certified with no check-engine light or known issues at the time of sale, and its service history showed no prior concerns that would have indicated an engine problem. Our Service Manager, Joe, spoke with you to review the vehicle’s history and the situation in detail, and the repair is covered. We’re also working with Honda to see if additional assistance may be available due to the delay caused by the backordered part.
