Couldn't have been easier. :) I had been in the market for either a Colorado or Tacoma for some time, had test driven both but was in no rush to buy. Two other friends of mine purchased their Colorado's from Rio Vista and both highly recommended their team. I called Tyler Smith, one of their sales managers, and he was SO easy to work with. I explained what I was looking for and in just a few minutes he found two different models and emailed me all the details on both. Chevy was running some really great April incentives, so if I was going to strike now might be a good time. Tyler shot straight from the hip on the various trim packages and the costs for all of them. I drove up that weekend to see what they had in stock. Tyler was out of the office so Oscar Garcia took care of me. He couldn't have been a nicer man; so down to Earth, easy to speak with and was great with the product. We couldn't find the specific model on their lot so he patched into their inventory database and located one in Santa Paula. Both dealerships did a swap and the following week a driver showed up at my house with the truck I was interested in. This allowed me to test drive it without the hassle of driving back up to the dealership. THAT'S SERVICE TO ME! I feel in love with the truck right away and knew it was time to head back in and work on pricing and the deal itself. Since Chevy sets the price I wouldn't need to haggle - and I did not want to. The financing could not have been less stressful. Erick Perez, their financing guy, really took his time with me to answer any questions. He gave me real clarity on things like the extended warranty and even called the credit union I got financing through and got them to reduce the APR a bit more. THANKS ERICK!! Then Oscar spent a bunch of time with me going over all the features - and there were SO MANY! This was a huge upgrade from what I was driving before (2003 Toyotal 4Runner). At one point I literally stopped him and told him I wasn't sure I deserved such a nice truck. He laughed and reminded me that every once in a while it is okay to do something for myself. I really appreciated his wisdom and undivided attention. It was a big difference in the experience. I was so happy to shake his hand, and I could tell he and his team were equally stoked for me. I haven't purchased a lot of cars in my life, but when I hear the horror stories friends of mine go through it makes me proud to know I worked with such an upstanding groups at Rio Vista. Please consider them if you are in the market for a new truck. They will not dissapoint!! :) More

Excellent Experience! 2019 Silverado Trail Boss LT Purchase My 2006 Chevy Silverado finally gave up the ghost after 214K miles so I needed a new truck. I went to several local (30 miles away) dealers and looke My 2006 Chevy Silverado finally gave up the ghost after 214K miles so I needed a new truck. I went to several local (30 miles away) dealers and looked at what they had in stock but none met my requirements. They all said they could build one but it would be an 8 to 10 week delivery time. I did a late night online search and found Rio Vista Chevrolet, which is about a 5-hour drive from my home. It appeared they had a truck that matched my needs, including a standard bed. I put in a request for a quote and was contacted the next morning by Kevin Conrad. Very friendly and helpful, he did a lot search immediately for the truck I was actually looking for. The first match he found in stock had a short bed, not a standard. Another search and, incredibly, he found one on the lot with everything I wanted, including several upgrades not on my list of wants/needs. Kevin gave me an out the door price that was about a $1000 less than the local dealers price that included about $2500 of “extra” upgrades that I didn’t need and a trade-in of $1400 on my 2006 Silverado. None of the other dealers were willing to do a trade or even just take it off my hands. After providing pre-signing information over the phone, I made arrangements to go to Rio Vista Chevrolet the next day even though it was a 5-hour drive. At Rio Vista, I met with Oscar Sanchez, the dealer rep, who matched Kevin’s great demeanor, checked out the truck, signed the paperwork with Erick Perez (another great Rio Vista employee) and was back on the road with my new Trail Boss in about an hour. From start to finish, this search and transaction took only 2 days! If I ever require another vehicle I will contact Rio Vista Chevrolet first. It is worth the drive for me to be treated courteously and get a square deal. More

I contacted Oscar Sanchez and after talking to Oscar and receiving photos, I was given a great deal and the vehicle would be delivered to my house (300 miles) for inspection and a test drive at no charge. How better could it get? It was delivered the next day, in very nice condition, as described to me, and I bought it. I also called him and Eric gave me a great deal on an Extended Warranty. It was painless, unlike my accident, and I am amazed at the quality and ease of this whole transaction. Bob and Darryl delivered, as did Oscar and Eric.
