I received well below KBB trade in value. They told me KBB values are too high and national average. The only discount i got on the new vehicle was entirely the Ford employee discount price. They told me KBB values are too high and national average. The only discount i got on the new vehicle was entirely the Ford employee discount price. Their Finance person Colin was not friendly at all and showed alot of attitude in that i did not want to purchase an extended warranty. He came at me stating i did not understand what the Ford warranty covered - i told him i completely understood exactly what the standard warranty covered. I drove home and was called by the same finance guy and a manager telling me i mis-spelled the dollar amount and i needed to immediately come back with another check. Keep in mind, this is a Saturday night after closing hours. I told them i was nit coming back. They stated they were sending a salesman immediately to pick the check up. My family and i put dinner on hold for 2 hours waiting before we said enough. Additionally, they did not provide me the second key at the sale. I had to make an appointment 2 weeks kater to get my second car. OMG. One more thing. The car porter did a terrible job of washing the vehicle. He sent it through the automated car wash while he played on his phone. there was a resultant big black scuff on the front if the hood that he did nothing about. He did not put the plates on well - there is an extra hole in the bumper from his initial attempt. He did not even put two screws in each plate. Terrible experience receiving my new vehicle handled by someone who truly did not care about his work. I do not recommend Elmhurst Ford for a purchase. I will have my vehicle serviced elsewhere. I intend to call the Rouesch family that owns the dealership of my experience. More
