Recently purchased a car from Peter Jakob at BMW of Barrington. Setting up a time to come in I warned Peter that he was either going to hate me or impress me by the end of the day. I fully expected the Barrington. Setting up a time to come in I warned Peter that he was either going to hate me or impress me by the end of the day. I fully expected the former, based on prior experience with dealerships. I was clear what my requirements were and wasn’t going to budge. Without getting into too many details of an extremely long day butting heads; Peter went to infinity and beyond making sure all of my requirements were met and I was leaving with my new car. Further, he is extremely responsive and continues to help me weeks after my purchase. Admittedly so, he impressed the xxxx out of me and will be my sales guy at BMW from here on. More
