Came in to look at an Acura MDX, test drove the vehicle and asked what the out the door pricing would be. I was told that unless I am ready to purchase at this exact moment, they would not discuss pricing and asked what the out the door pricing would be. I was told that unless I am ready to purchase at this exact moment, they would not discuss pricing as it would be a waste of managements time. I left and test drove some other SUVs, decided to go with the Acura MDX. I sent an email asking what the out the door price would be for that vehicle. The response I got was “So you are fully committed to the MDX?” I guess I still haven’t proven myself. Coming to the dealership on a Saturday, my day off and test driving the vehicle still wasn’t enough to prove that I’m committed and get pricing. It seems like I’m supposed to get on my hands and knees and beg, to show that I’m worthy of getting the total price of the vehicle. This is the only dealership I have been to that has a problem being transparent when it comes to providing an out the door price, Went to a different Acura dealership and received a completely different experience. They gave me out the door numbers on 2 different MDX’s. They showed me what discounts they can give on each one, no games, just complete transparency and great customer service. More
