I recently attempted to purchase a new Mustang from Greenway Ford and had one of the most disorganized and inconsistent dealership experiences I’ve ever encountered. Communication was poor from the Greenway Ford and had one of the most disorganized and inconsistent dealership experiences I’ve ever encountered. Communication was poor from the start. I asked for a clear out‑the‑door price and was told only “it’s the price on the website plus tax and fees,” with no actual breakdown provided. When I requested a trade estimate, I was told I’d need to drive two hours to the dealership. After pushing back, I was told they could still provide an estimate remotely — but days went by with no response. I was contacted by multiple people (Youssef, Liz, Alexa, Sofia, Eurisquel, Eric), none of whom seemed to communicate with each other, and the dealership relied heavily on an AI texting system that even their own staff admitted was causing issues. After several attempts, I finally received a written offer sheet showing a $39,000 out‑the‑door price and a $48,950 trade value, contingent only on my vehicle checking out and the payoff being accurate. These numbers were confirmed again in text. Right before I was about to drive two hours (4 hour round trip) to finalize the deal, I was told the vehicle had an open recall and could not be sold. I was then assured that the dealership would still honor the $48,950 trade value if I sold them my car directly. Despite these written commitments, the dealership later attempted to reduce my trade value by $5,000 when I received a call from Doris, citing “management review.” Changing the deal after confirming it in writing (and after I rearranged my schedule to accommodate their timeline) is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the professionalism and transparency of the management team. Between the inconsistent communication, reliance on malfunctioning AI systems, lack of follow‑through, and ultimately reversing a confirmed deal by thousands of dollars, I cannot recommend this dealership.
