I’ve bought a couple of cars, but doing so through EchoPark was probably the smoothest experience I’ve ever had with purchasing a used vehicle. I purchased a 2023 Mazda CUV with about 24,500 for ar EchoPark was probably the smoothest experience I’ve ever had with purchasing a used vehicle. I purchased a 2023 Mazda CUV with about 24,500 for around $23.5k. Before I went in, I looked in Kelley blue book for its value, and true to their word, the Echopark’s listing was below the average price. They were very upfront about this, letting me know that because of this, negotiating the price would not be available. I worked with Riley who stated the team there are salary and not commission, so there was no pressure to put down at the time of purchase nor was there any pushing to purchase extended warranties. Riley just stated what each package came with and showed me what my rates per month would be if I wanted put down any money. The choice was all up to me and there was no animosity or ill-will when I said I didn’t want to put any money down. For others in a similar situation as myself, if you are not working currently but do have a job offer letter, I would suggest first getting pre-approved by a credit union before going in. Riley was very honest and transparent about issues that may arise with owning a Mazda, but they were one or two things I’d seen on Reddit prior to purchasing and they aren’t extremely common. At the time of purchase Riley was training Garret (if my memory serves correct), and I would like to mention that Garret was great to work with as well. He wasn’t overbearing, but also was not invisible/awkwardly there. He helped where he could and as a result made the process a little faster by taking on some of the tasks for purchasing. It was as if I had the pleasure of working with two dealers at the same time. If you're looking for a seamless, relaxed experience, I highly recommend calling or stopping by Echopark and asking for Riley or Garret. More
