I was in the market for an inexpensive, but quality convertible. I found exactly what I was looking for at Crown Eurocars. My only reluctancy was trading in my newer Jaguar(with awesome warranty/mainte convertible. I found exactly what I was looking for at Crown Eurocars. My only reluctancy was trading in my newer Jaguar(with awesome warranty/maintenance) on an older car.. the salesman got me behind the wheel of the car, I liked it, I told him my concern, and he convinced me the car came with a “crown 100k mileage warranty, because they sell Mercedes and don’t want a bad reputation from selling an inexpensive older car.” That was my only concern, and I was comfortable and trusting, so I negotiated a deal(they were fair to negotiate with), and the next day went back to buy the car! Excited! We did all the paperwork, I owned the car, I asked for the keys, and the salesman had me come to his desk and he said before he can give me the keys, I needed to sign an “as is agreement..” it was so surprising to me, but i wanted my keys and felt I had to sign it as I already signed everything else- so I signed it, even though I was told the car came with the crown advantage warranty. I got my keys, and left. A month later(less than 1,000 miles) and the car needed $1,650 in repairs- it was overheating. I was lied to my face, and at the last minute slipped something to sign. I feel tricked and lied to and have a very bad opinion of this dealership. Crown is a big business in Saint Petersburg, Florida and when it’s time I buy a new car, I will not be taken advantage of again and fooled by Crown. More
