I bought a used Ford Edge with only 55,000 miles on it. The car had one owner and was serviced it's whole life at Serra Ford. It seemed like a real nice, clean car. In August, a month after I bought it, there was a strange smell that literally smelled like a giant fart. I told Robert Bell, my sales guy about it and he said it was the air vents and he gave me some spray to spray in the vents. I believed him that it was just the air vents but even though I used two cans of that spray the smell stayed. Fast forward a few months and we took the car to a mechanic because we did not buy Ford's very expensive extended warranty and we could not afford their very expensive service center. The mechanic found it was the front differential so we had him replace it. And guess what? The smell vanished. We paid the mechanic $2,000 to replace the differential with a used one because new ones are super expensive and we couldn't afford that, esp since my husband was on disability for an injury. Then we took the car to Serra and told them about it. They offered us a $500 service credit to look it over and make sure it wasn't also a drive shaft problem which the other mechanic told us it could also be. That ended up costing us an additional couple hundred dollars because the $500 didn't quite cover everything. To be fair they also offered us a little loaner car while ours was in the shop. Now another year later, with only 85,000 miles on it the brake booster is going. Oh yeah. Ford knew about this and offered a warranty instead of a recall. But, guess what? That warranty ran out last fall. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention we also had to replace a rear wheel bearing this spring. I have felt this whole time that this dealership knew this car had these issues. How could they not? That car came from their dealership and was serviced at their dealership it's whole life before I bought it. Oh and one more thing. I called their service center a couple or three days ago about the brake booster and he said he would do some research and call me back. Guess what? Crickets. I think he just wanted me off the phone do he didn't have to deal with it. All in all, I would not buy another car from this dealer. You take your chances when you buy a used car anyway and remember knowledge is power and he with all the knowledge has all the power. They had knowledge I didn't have. Shame on me for believing I was buying a good used car. More

It has been 10 years since we (my husband and I) had last purchased a vehicle. Most people would shop around and jump to different dealerships trying to find the best deal, but with my experience I didn’t ha purchased a vehicle. Most people would shop around and jump to different dealerships trying to find the best deal, but with my experience I didn’t have too! This was a one stop shop for us! We inquired about a newly used vehicle and by luck we were placed with Robert Bell…. Personally I didn’t want to be overwhelmed with options so Mr. Bell helped narrow down 3 different cars with relatively same mileage and similar costs. He was knowledgeable and not pushy whatsoever. Highly recommend Robert and this dealership. It’s so hard to get good and honest customer service these days, so thank you to Robert and his team for exceeding all our expectation! Also side note: Mike Pytel… although he was not our salesman, he sat at his desk behind Mr. Bells, and he also greeted me with a smile and helped lend a hand when I cut myself opening a toy for my kids in the waiting area. I know it’s not a huge deal, but he was just so nice and helpful in aiding the situation. Super nice guy, and I’m sure he’s just as amazing as Robert at his job! You guys can’t go wrong with a team like this! I truly and genuinely mean that! Thank you Robert and SerraFordFH! Sincerely, Chelsea & Joe Swykert (The new proud owners of a 2022 Cadillac XT4) More
