Robert was so helpful. He wasn’t pushy like most car salesman. He was very relaxed and allowed me to test drive whatever vehicles I wanted. Everyone worked hard for me. Only complaint the seats were dirty and stained and when I turn the seats down the crumbs and dirt we're everywhere. We picked a great SUV, Robert made it a fast seamless process. Towards the end of the deal we settled on a price and figured wow, we better test drive the car. Can you imagine closing the deal, signing a process. Towards the end of the deal we settled on a price and figured wow, we better test drive the car. Can you imagine closing the deal, signing all the paperwork then driving the car off the lot only to then realize a major mechanical malfunction? So we did, upon starting it up, I heard a rattle for two seconds, then quiet. I knew that wasn’t right. But we drove it down the street, the motor and transmission, typical Honda, sound great! So we go ahead with the deal, but the rattle had me rattled. Exhaust? Internal? After we drove it off the lot. Didn’t hear it again until the next morning. And again after setting for 8 hours while my wife was at work, same rattle upon start, two seconds when warm quiet. Apparently our mechanic told us this was common it was the cam shaft actuator that was bad. It’s a $1300 job. Honda put out this bulletin. Gatorland did not investigate this sound, sold it as is. I’m not a mechanic, but I know sounds that should and should not be. Nobody at a company who specialize in buying and selling cars heard that sound and addressed it? Nope. So instead of paying 16k for this vehichle, if I wasn’t in tune with what sounds should and should not be, the motor would have went out of time from the cam actuator and blew the motor. Good job Gatorland real sad, better mechanics checking out your pre-owned cars maybe? Dropping 1300$ as soon as you buy the car was shameful and made us feel that we will never purchase from you guys again. Sad story. More
