Real differenteial seal While in for a regular maintenance check up and oil change the service department found that the rear differential seal leaking(damp). Upon completi While in for a regular maintenance check up and oil change the service department found that the rear differential seal leaking(damp). Upon completion of the check up the service technician Bob, went over the down side of what could happen should this be left go. A $2500 bill vs a $115 bill if taken care of now. Bob indicated that this could be left go until the next oil change unless I saw that the seal was getting worse by seeing wetness on the garage floor. At the time I passed on setting an appointment thinking I would wait. Upon arriving home and going over what was found with my wife since this was her vehicle it was decided we did not want to take a chance and have the seal go bad when she might be out on the road away from home. Plus the fact a $2500 bill vs $115 if taken care of now. I called the dealership to set an appointment for the following Friday. Upon arrival that day the service tech at that time did not find that an appointment was made but would try and work me in that day. After a few minutes the service tech came back to the waiting room to inform me that because an appointment was not noted the differential seal had not been ordered. To say that I was not a little upset would be far from the truth. Schedules needed to be rearranged to get the vehicle back in the following week with a promise that the seal would be ordered that day and would be in the next morning. A new appointment was made for the upcoming Thursday at 7:30 am. Early that week I received a call from Kathy to check on how things went with the regular maintenance of the oil change and was I happy with the service. This I proceeded explain to her what had happen the previous week. She did apologize for the error and asked if another appointment had been made which I said yes. Later that afternoon I received a phone call from Bob who had taken the phone call to make the initial appointment to do the repair on the rear differential seal. Bob apologized and indicated he remember the phone call but had failed to follow through. Again apologizing for the error. And due to his error the repair work would be at NO COST to me. He would see that the dealership paid for the repair. This I was happy with due to the rearranging of schedules that had to be made to get the vehicle back in to do the repair. work. My only question to the service tech was I did not want to see anyone have to pay for repairing my wife's vehicle out of their pocket. This I was assured was not the case and the dealership was paying for the repair. This dealership in the 6 years that we have dealt with them have been very accommodating and friendly. Soon after my 2012 Accord's warranty expired I had an issue that I would have had to pay.This I understood. However Bob took it upon himself to make a call to Honda feeling that the issue I had with only 32,000 (+-) miles on the car should have not happened. Upon Bob's recommendation Honda agreed to pay for the repair. Would I recommend this dealership and service department absolutely!! Good people who do care about their customers. We started having them provide our service in 2004 when we bought our first Honda's and have always been very plaease with there service department. We wouldn't think of going anyplace else for anything our cars need. They do a great job. More

Normal service Parkway Honda always is looking out for ME, the customer. I know nothing about cars, and don’t want to know anything, so I am happy that they DO know Parkway Honda always is looking out for ME, the customer. I know nothing about cars, and don’t want to know anything, so I am happy that they DO know their vehicles. This visit, they discerned that my battery was not up to snuff, so they replaced it, which probably prevented my being stranded somewhere this coming winter. This is the sort of proactive care that has led me to buy five vehicles from them over the last few years. Bob Windemuth’s service guys are top notch, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. More

Dead Battery At 3AM on a Saturday night y battery died. Luckily a friend had jumper cables. Made it to and from church on Sunday. Monday when I went out to go to w At 3AM on a Saturday night y battery died. Luckily a friend had jumper cables. Made it to and from church on Sunday. Monday when I went out to go to work the car would not start. Called Parkway Honda and spoke with the service manager Bob Windemuth. He sent an employee to my house to jump my car. I dropped of items at work and then went to Honda and left my car. (I had scheduled and appointment for 3:00 earlier in the morning.) Parkway took my car in and called shortly thereafter to tell me the battery was done. The battery was replaced and my car was ready to go. Picked it up at 1:30. E I am extremely grateful for all the guys I talked with that day as my car was taken care of, as usual. More
