I am here for you. I have been with General Motors since 1996. I drive from Port Jefferson to work at Arnold Chevrolet Buick in West Babylon so I can work at an honest dealership. I pass a lot of GM stores on my way in to Arnold every day and could work at any one of them; I am very grateful to work at a store that requires honesty. Arnold Chevrolet is the absolute best dealership! Ron Wood, Bill Tuchler, and Dave Lee were all very professional, kind, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. It was great experience UNTIL I brought my Tahoe in toward the end of its warrantee, still in warrantee though. I advised the service staff the transmission was slipping. After checking it out they t toward the end of its warrantee, still in warrantee though. I advised the service staff the transmission was slipping. After checking it out they told me they took it for a ride, and they couldn't recreate the problem. They then looked at my transmission and told me it was fine. Now, we are out of warrantee and the slipping transmission I companied about never went away and is now a major problem. I called to discuss when them and they told me I REFUSED SERVICE. Which admits they knew it was a problem... Now tell me, do you think I would have refused service??? NOOOOOOO.!!! Nobody in this country would refuse service to a slipping transmission under warrantee! They lied to my face and had the nerve to tell me I refused service!! I am appalled. They probably thought it's not bad yet, lets tell her its fine and it will crash out of warrantee. I will never buy from Arnold Chevrolet ever again and have been warning everybody I know never to buy Cars from them. 1 star is a star too many. This was completely unacceptable! PS....Oh and they gave me GM's # to speak with and they have been jerking us around. I will try another manufacturer make going forward as GM lost their -"Built Strong" mojo!! More
