My experience buying a 2026 Palisade from Big Star Hyundai was a complete disappointment. They lowballed my trade at $24K (despite CarMax/TrueCar offers at $26.5–$27K), hid the real trade numbers by including tax credits, added unwanted extras like a $4,310 “Platinum Package,” and even extended my loan from 60 to 72 months without clearly disclosing it. To make matters worse, they failed to install my plates and told me I didn’t need a front plate in Texas — wrong. And unlike my previous dealer, no one explained a single feature of my new Palisade. I later discovered hidden add-ons like AppearanceShield and a prepaid maintenance plan I didn’t need. The AppearanceShield has no value on my matte finish paint, and Hyundai already provides complimentary maintenance. This dealership prioritizes profit over integrity. I will never buy from Big Star Hyundai again and strongly urge others to read every line before signing. More
