I bought a pre-owned vehicle from this dealer some time ago. In the sales agreement the dealership was going to service my engine 6 times for free. The first time I ask this service dept to service my en ago. In the sales agreement the dealership was going to service my engine 6 times for free. The first time I ask this service dept to service my engine, immediately after the service I heard a knocking noise when the engine was idling warm. I did some checking to find out this engine has cam phasers that advance the timing automatically. The operation of these cam phasers is controlled by oil pressure in part. If the oil pressure is low, the phasers make a knocking noise. It became very clear that the engine would require the correct oil and oil filter to keep it from knocking. I took my vehicle back to this shop and explained the issue. They changed the engine oil and filter again for free. ( GREAT ) The following serviced over the next year continued to be a problem. I found by changing the engine oil myself that it was going to take a very good oil filter and Mobile One oil to keep this engine from knocking. I explained that to the service writers and continued to ask them to use the appropriate oil and filter to protect this engine from damage. I found that when I changed the oil, all was fine. When this service dept changed my oil, I had this knocking issue to deal with. SO, I pulled some oil from this engine the last time Youngbloods folks service my engine and I had it tested. They told me they put Mobile One in my engine. That was a lie. I didn't pay to find out what was in my engine but I did pay find out what was not in my engine. IT WAS NOT MOBILE ONE. I've just returned home from having these folks service my engine again. I can hear the knocking noise at idle. Knowing what I've experienced here in the past, I made it a point to ask the service writer what oil they put in my engine. They told me it is Mobile One. I'll have it tested again just to see for sure BECAUSE, they also told me they were installing a good quality oil filter. Reading the invoice they gave me, they installed a good K&N filter. Checking the specs for this filter tells me it is a quality filter with check valves and such to protect the engine and keep the oil pressure up where it belongs. Imagine my surprise when I open the hood on my vehicle and found that they did not install a good K&N filter but instead, I have a cheap STP filter on my engine. I'll give this dealership one point because the waiting area is very clean and comfortable for those waiting on their vehicle. The folks up front a nice and always pleasant to talk too. The service writers are pleasant and seem to know what their talking about. It's too bad that there is no integrity to be found here. I know they are paying for these oil changes BUT, wouldn't it be a lot better if they just told the truth?? There is a real issue here in getting an honest, straight forward explanation regard to what is being done to ones vehicle. This was my last service to be done here. I won't be back for any reason. I've been in the business myself for over 53 years. This kind of service is just not acceptable. FWIW: Ryan checked me in and kept in touch during the service. He a good guy and seems to care. I don't know who checked my out because I've never seem him before but he flat out lied to me about what was done. IF I knew who he was, I would have given him and appropriate rating. Ryan was fine to work with and seemed concerned with the problems. Bad thing is that Youngblood had our Kia Stinger for a week and never called to update the resolve. Only by stopping by the service dept did we find that the car was fixed. The manager in the in rental area was a different story, He was rude, condescending and continued do be so upon my leaving. This issue was that i didn't top off the rental vehicle gas tank to a tune of 2 gallons. He was very rude about the broken Kia was not his fault nor Youngblood and they hold no responsibility for it. I did point out that they do get paid by Kia for warranty work. Further the reason we were given at purchase time for paying $2 k over MSRP. So Youngblood could get the warranty and service work! Still disappointing to argue with a customer who has spent this kind of money for a vehicle over 2 gallons of gas. More

This review is for the Parts Department! Customer service rating 1 I have been trying to get my KIA Sportage drivers window working. First I thought it might be the control panel on the a Customer service rating 1 I have been trying to get my KIA Sportage drivers window working. First I thought it might be the control panel on the arm rest. The one with the buttons, when ordered and picked up from the parts department I was told "no return on electronic parts". I understood that 100% , well that was not the problem so it was a $150.00 expense. Next was the motor after looking around, I decided to go with Youngblood parts knowing I would get the correct motor. Ordered it on the phone for $200.00, I was ok with that. When I picked up the motor I talked with the parts person about what I was doing and what to do if this motor was not the fix. I was told there would be a restocking charge, of which I was ok with. Its better than sitting on a brand new motor. Well come to find out it was not the $200.00 motor but a $1.00 fuse. Stupid me! So yesterday my wife went to Springfield to return the motor only to find out they were not going to take it back because it was "used". We did put a small hole in the plastic bag to plug the motor in to see if it worked and it did not. The service department told my wife because it was "used" they would not be able to take it back. This is the reason for my review. Very poor customer concern. Makes you wonder if their service department tries a part and ends up not needing it are you getting charged for a new part or used part. Something to think about. Any body need a brand new motor for KIA Sportage? will make good deal More

Ordered a replacement key fob and had a scheduled appt. Mar. 31st to have it programmed. I drove 1 and 1/2 hours to the dealership just to be told that they didn't order my key fob. I was told they did not have a record of who was supposed to order the fob and I would have to come back. I was able to find the confirmation email, but that didn't seem to help them explain to me what had gone wrong. They were not willing to work with us on covering the cost of gas or time we were out on making the trip there. They didn't seem to care....BUT being the only KIA dealership in our area I was forced to go back a couple months later, because I could not find an alternative. Very poor customer service....Hard to believe that that didn't send me a Customer Survey to fill out, lol. That's my Youngblood KIA experience. More
