I am in the process of submitting a formal complaint to Honda Corporate about how I felt lied to and cheated during my turn in and lease on May 22 from 3:30-7:30 I have been a loyal Honda leasee since 2003 Honda Corporate about how I felt lied to and cheated during my turn in and lease on May 22 from 3:30-7:30 I have been a loyal Honda leasee since 2003. I have had numerous text and e-mail communications from Sagar Sigdel promising me certain things if I was to bring in my vehicle a few months early of my turn in date. I had worked with Quentin at this same location in 2021 and felt was treated with respect... but this time... I felt like I was thrown to the wolves! I was at the dealership for over 4 HOURS and left not having the lease contract I wanted, not having the car I was promised and am still trying to get communication from management about adjusting things on the lease. This is my 9th lease with Honda Financial. I was promised a loyalty turn in fee waiver which I was still charged for. $595 I was given a worthless (because my lease requires substantial insurance to cover this) Int/Ext package that put another $895 on my lease. This I didn't agree to this but Sagar threw it in there using it to up the deal on his end. He even alluded to the fact that I must have the problem because I was expecting too much for too little and I was being unreasonable. I also overheard that I probably was faking or using my wheelchair to get a "good deal". This shocked me! I'm not a crier, but I was in tears feeling lied to, cheated by and treated like I was somehow subpar. I am a paraplegic. Injured in 2012 and forced to use hand controls to drive. I never have the luxury of test driving my new lease and so I do count more on professional in the dealership to guide me when it's time for my new lease. I also came assuming I was promised to pay nothing down but it the chaos of Sigi I agreed to $540 down. I told Doug in Finance that I wasn't prepared to pay that and Sagar promised I could wait to pay that until I could acquire the funds. The date was set by Doug at 6/6/24 but a week prior I began to try and reach him to adjust that date until my hand control reimbursement comes through from Honda. No response. The card I gave him to "hold" that amount is not in my name as it is a FBO account for my disability needs. Now I have had Julie Lang, who has that FBO account for me, request that it be reversed or my bank with dispute the amount. Also it has a fee attached to it now. Also the car isn't an AWD like my 2022 and that $1500 difference was promised to be adjusted for me on this lease and it wasn't. All mentioned above adding up to 3K more in your favor and all that were not agreed upon during the chaos of that day. How can you feel pride in the work that you do when I put it all on the table about my situation and you do not? More
