This is a continuation of the previous service (you can find it on this site) issue I have had with another dealership. This part involves the heated steering wheel that was replaced do to it malfunctioni find it on this site) issue I have had with another dealership. This part involves the heated steering wheel that was replaced do to it malfunctioning. The previous tech (different dealership) replaced the wheel and FAILED TO DO A CHECK to see if it was functional. Antioch's' Technician AXEL, did an OBD check and found there was a short in the CLOCK SPRING. thus, along with the wheel the Clock Spring needed to be replaced too. Prior to this I had informed the previous dealer that the wheel would not heat up, there reply, "it won't heat up until the temperature is around 35 degrees". That was untrue for it worked fine during tests in the summer when I had first picked up the new 2020 Wrangler. I also have photos of the incorrect placement of the internal wiring! It would eventually have failed again due to the wiring becoming chafed. It is now working correctly and even when the temperature was in the 60's. I did go back to the previous dealership and talked about the problems and my concerns about the technician failing to do quality work. I believe he was sincerely interested in some of my concerns and suggestions. AGAIN, ANTIOCH CHRYSLER JEEP "TEAM" comes through! More
