Hello! I have over 5 years of experience in the auto industry in Colorado and I believe vehicle-shopping should be enjoyable and stress-free. I'll take the time to understand what matters to you and help you choose your next vehicle. I am an Air Force vet that served 8 years. I took great pride in being an Airborne Ops Instructor flying some pretty unique missions around the globe in a massive jet. While I don't fly in the military anymore, I do enjoy taking a small Cessna up once in a while to share the joys of private aviation with my friends and family. When I'm not at the dealership, you may find me out exploring Colorado and visiting local shops, restaurants, or cafes. I enjoy adrenaline-fueled activities such as skydiving, hiking 14ers, or skiing too! I am sincerely looking forward to working with you and learning about how I can best serve you.

Our sales man was aware the vehicle would be for my wife, and the entire time we dealt with him, he only spoke to me. He did not change his pitch, methods or approach to work with my wife ever. My wife was ready to leave within the first 10 minutes of being on the lot, but convinced her that we were there for a car, not the sales person. Once we decided to purchase the car, there were several more issues that came about during the paperwork process. We walked in pre-approved from a partner credit union, and once we submitted the credit app through Schomp we waited for almost two hours before we were "approved". When questioned about the timing, the sales manager at first told us that they were waiting for the Credit Union to get back to them. But in a later sentence, he said that the delay was because they were in the process of programming second key for us. Additionally, we were told that we were 8th in line to have the car detailed prior to leaving the lot. When I asked what they had been doing the previous two hours, there was no response. The only upside of the transaction is that the sales manager worked with us on taking home the car with a dealer plate, because our bank limited how much we could put on our debit card at one time and we did not have our checkbook at the time. Once all the transaction was closed, Schomp did not email us any copies of our paperwork. I had to call a week later to see where it was. Only then did they email us our copies. The most upsetting part of the entire transaction is that while "negotiating", I told the salesman that the Federal Trade Commission had just instated a policy that requires all dealerships to include all required fees in the advertised list price. When we looked at the paperwork there was an additional $50 fee to the state that was added. The dealership would not take $50 off the list price because "if they audited, they would get in trouble". So both parties agreed that Schomp would mail us a check for $50. At first we were told we would see this check in 3-5 days. Later we were told it would 2-3 weeks. We are approaching 45 days and still no check. I am not upset at $50; I am upset that a person or business is as good as their word, and so fair Schomp Mazda's means nothing. We will not be going back to this dealership. More
