Sarah handled the repair of our newest MB (2009 SL550; 35k miles) very well. Great communication! Delighted the diagnosis and replacement of the passenger SAM and ECM fixed the shut off issue! Two concerns: : 1) It is not at all clear why the dealer ECM part cost of $3,462 (-$200 core) is so much higher than the price at classic parts.mbusa.com, $2,449 (-$200 core)? A 40+% markup over MB price at the classic car center is unreasonable. Other official MB sites offer the part at $2,047,50 or even $2,011.45, which then indicates Dick Dyer price is outrageously over 70% more than genuine Mercedes prices! This matter is clearly a dealer issue, not the staff I was interacting with. I would like to believe that Dick Dyer will refund or credit my account for these part cost excesses. 2). I had verified there were no errors present on my diagnostic equipment, prior to this spontaneous shut off issue that happened on the highway. Tire pressures, fluids, and full tank of fuel. Found it curious when I picked up the car that the fuel was so low on the guage? Went to a gas station and verified it was only 1.5 gallons low. Puzzling that a perfectly working fuel guage is now dysfunctional with no error codes after the extensive electrical component repairs? More

Had very good service. Everyone was nice and helpful Service noticed that I had two recalls on the car that I wasn’t aware of and also found that my battery was going bad Everyone was nice and helpful Service noticed that I had two recalls on the car that I wasn’t aware of and also found that my battery was going bad. Grateful the technicians were able to fix these problems before I got stranded somewhere as I’m on the road out of town every two weeks out of town. Also loved the fact the waiting area had snacks and coffee to keep my company while waited. More
