I had a blowout on 77 south of Rock Hill SC. After waiting in a Shell Truck Stop for a tow truck for almost 5 hours (because of a miscommunication by Mercedes Roadside Assistance - not affiliat After waiting in a Shell Truck Stop for a tow truck for almost 5 hours (because of a miscommunication by Mercedes Roadside Assistance - not affiliated with this dealership!), I was finally picked up by Eddie of Moore's Trucking - a life saver! We arrived at your Mercedes dealership at 5:55pm. I was extremely stressed out at this point and didn't know what I was going to do. I would probably have to get a hotel room, but where? I went to the Service Area where I saw Sarah. The other service people were packing up to leave or gone. Sarah didn't know if there were any technicians still there but said she would check. She came back with good news - that Charlie was still there. Charlie came out and told me he would check my tire. In the meantime, Sarah was calming me down and assuring me that she would stay there until my car was finished. I had called your service department earlier and was told by a very helpful gentleman that you had my tire in stock. Now I just had to hope the rim wasn't also damaged. After a few minutes Charlie came back and told me the best news - that the rim was OK. Sarah took care of all the paperwork and explained the cost, and that I could possibly put in a claim for the tire since I have rim insurance. She even took time to talk to my husband. At that point I was in tears - it had been a long, stressful day and I was just so relieved everything was being taken care of. And I was especially appreciative not only because of the excellent customer service, but also because of Sarah's kindness and empathy. By 6:45pm I was on my way, but not until Sarah even took an extra few minutes to give me directions on the best way to exit the dealership. I was home in Greensboro by 9:00pm, completely drained after such a stressful day, but so grateful that I didn't have to find a hotel and come back the next morning to get my tire changed. All because of Sarah, and of course Charlie. More
