I have a 2023 Honda Ridgeline lease that I brought in for a noise that I could hear on the bottom of the truck. They could not duplicate the noise but did charge me $230 for a diagnostic test. This makes me very unhappy because first of all, it’s a lease. I shouldn’t have to pay anything for a safety maintenance issue. In addition, I purchased a maintenance repair package for $2700 when I leased the truck. Why didn’t this pay for the diagnostic test?! I am very disappointed with Darlings Honda about this charge. It is rare that you hear or read that someone trusts an auto dealer or car repair. Many times you wonder if what you are told is true, or a way to generate more business and income. They don't find silly things that need to be fixed. If there is something that is seriously wrong, they explain the issue and offer alternative solutions. They are prompt with their appointments and the service reps are all very pleasant. My only mild complaint is that the waiting room could be improved. It is not very comfortable and it is always cold! More
