Great Experience I went to this dealership expecting the vulture salesmen to swoop down on me as soon as I got out of my vehicle. Instead, I was pleased to be able to I went to this dealership expecting the vulture salesmen to swoop down on me as soon as I got out of my vehicle. Instead, I was pleased to be able to quietly walk in and walk around, looking at different models on my own while I collected my thoughts. After a few minutes, a rep named Shane made eye contact with me from his desk and very casually said that if I had any questions, he would be right there. I made sure to go to him when I was ready and the entire experience was very casual and comfortable, like hanging out with a friend who just happened to be selling me a car. He showed me different options and was not pushy at any point, pointing out the pros AND cons of each model. It was such a great experience that I am hooked and will be sticking with Subaru. More

Instant comfort and served with a feeling of trust and honesty. My salesman, Shane, was friendly without fakeness, more-than-willing to spend the time it took to get me what I wanted, and I didn't feel rushed to make a decision. I had a great experience with Finance as well, all my questions were answered clearly and thoroughly. I called with a question a few days after my purchase and my concern was addressed immediately and phone calls returned same day with follow up the next morning. t's nice to know, not only is there a dealership I would feel completely comfortable with purchasing from again, but the great customer service continues even after you make the purchase. Thank you to Shane and Donaldsons for an overall great experience. I am already spreading the word! More

Our business here is ended. After meeting with an extremely nice sales rep, Shane Ohliger, but waiting more than two months for the Legacy I was promised sooner, I questioned why After meeting with an extremely nice sales rep, Shane Ohliger, but waiting more than two months for the Legacy I was promised sooner, I questioned why I didn't have a car yet and what I could do since my car had now broken down. Shane had no information for me so my husband contacted the GM for Sales who recommended that we contact Subaru of America since his hands were tied and cars were not coming in. We did contact Subaru of America and were told that the dealership did not give us the correct information about the expected delivery date which they should have known from the beginning. During a second conversation with the GM I asked for advice on what to do during which he yelled at me over the phone, told me he was refunding my deposit and our business here is ended. He cancelled the car. He then had the sales rep email me that my money was being refunded. When we called back Subaru of America to update them on the situation, they were shocked at how I was treated. They apologized for the experience and recommended that we go to another dealer. So we did. BTW, the same car with the same package was priced less at Competition Subaru of Smithtown - very nice people - car ordered. A few days later, Shane called me at the GM's request to say the car arrived and if I wanted it, I could come in and buy it. No thank you..."our business here is ended." More

Sean Review Sean was very friendly and got his points across about the quality of the car without being pushy. My husband purchased and financed the car but Sean Sean was very friendly and got his points across about the quality of the car without being pushy. My husband purchased and financed the car but Sean treated me with respect and kept me abreast of the details of the transaction as if I were purchasing the car myself. I also have a very active 1 yr old who was excited to be inside the dealership with all the cars. Every single person inside from sales to service was kind w/ my son & played with him. That by far was the most impressive thing about my experience...how seamlessly kids fit in. I didn't feel like a bother with my son. Sean even played with him which won me over. Robert in finance also treated me with respect though my husband took care of the transaction. He answered all of my questions and ensured I felt comfortable. It's clear the customer experience is emphasized.. More

2015 Forester Very happy with the service I received at Donaldson's. Everyone from the front receptionist to Shane in sales and the Finance Director were friendly, Very happy with the service I received at Donaldson's. Everyone from the front receptionist to Shane in sales and the Finance Director were friendly, knowledgeable, and wonderful to work with. From the moment I walked in, all of my questions and concerns were addressed by Shane and he walked me through the whole process as I have never bought a brand new car before. I love my new 2015 Forester and will also be servicing it at the dealership. I really appreciate the organization and coordination at Donaldson's! More
