Shawn is a wonderful asset to your company- he was quick to respond and helpful. Chris in finance is a different story. It was very clear he was intimidated by a couple of color buying a car with cash. We to respond and helpful. Chris in finance is a different story. We brought the form of payment requested by VW and was then told they won’t release the car because we could cancel the check after leaving. He also told us he spoke to 3 people “at the top” who confirmed this process. Which we now know was untrue. The assumption that we would bring a fraudulent check OR cancel it after has to be driven by a racial bias and that is extremely unfortunate. Then we were told to go back to the bank to reverse the check so we could use our debt card- which foolishly we were willing to do because we have the money. Only to then have the bank (for the second time) explain to the dealership the bond of a cashier check. Once returning we waited over 2 hours to sign 10min items worth of paper work. I’m in complete shock by this entire process and Chris as well as the “top people” he consults with should be ashamed of themselves. More
