Came if for non-functioning tailgate on 2018 King Ranch (open recall, 2021). Spent three hours waiting on job, the tailgate worked for one day. Then stopped working again. Had to reschedule another service (open recall, 2021). Spent three hours waiting on job, the tailgate worked for one day. Then stopped working again. Had to reschedule another service call, again waited over 2 hours to determine the 'actuator' is the problem. Why could this not have been diagnosed at the first visit for recall install/update? Seems excessive to now pay a separate diagnostic and labor charge and now new actuator for tailgate electrical fix. And to top it off, no actuator part was on stock, so now I have to come back in for yet a 'third' visit to get the first single problem fixed. More
