UPDATE 10/3/25: I originally rated this review at 2 stars due to the timing of the service (1 hour+) and the high price of an oil change ($115) that came as a shock to me. The dealership did reach out, and I spoke with John, the General Sales Manager. He shared that Vision Hyundai did, in fact, do away with the free lifetime oil changes, and he apologized that this was not shared with me with my most recent vehicle purchase. Due to the experience I had, he agreed to comp my next oil change and look into shortening the waiting experience for oil changes. Because I do live 45 minutes from the dealership, I still risk the extended wait time (plus drive time) that I wouldn't have at my local Express Lube. I can only hope for a smoother experience at my next oil change! Original Post: I was there for an hour and a half, for a simple oil change. I understand that there are multiple customers having multiple services performed, but the scheduling system shouldn’t let that many customers schedule service all at the same time if there aren’t enough staff to offer the services in a reasonable time frame. In the hour and a half I was in there, three other individuals were all complaining how they were also there for over an hour, waiting for an oil change that should take no more than 20 minutes. One of the ladies shared that she knew this was her last free oil change and she wouldn’t be using them for future services; it was a surprise to me when I walked in that I had already used my last free one, so I drove 45 minutes away and waited an hour and a half for a service that I could have had done locally and saved 2+ hours of my time. It was also a shock to me because that’s the first time I’ve had to pay for an oil change from there in over 10 years since I started purchasing vehicles from this location. I don’t remember being informed when I purchased this car in 2022 that I only had 3 years of free oil changes, or I would have kept track of that. Maybe this was negligent on my part, but I thought I was grandfathered into the free oil changes for life. I also wasn’t notified of the paid service on the scheduling service, where it asks you to sign it/select your vehicle, that it would now be a paid service. I do appreciate that someone somehow got me a significant discount for the service, but this oil change would have been $115 for 3 hours of my time, had I not received a discount from one of the nice workers. More

The techs at Vision Hyundai are always professional, polite and timely. I especially love the video that the service tech sends after the service is complete.
