My salesman ~Nabeel~ had great customer service UNTIL his manager suggested to recommend a vehicle to us that was double our price range. Initially, we did not know the price of the vehicle, but was told by manager suggested to recommend a vehicle to us that was double our price range. Initially, we did not know the price of the vehicle, but was told by Nabeel that he thought they would make a great offer on the vehicle because it was a 25 model & they were ready to get it off the lot. We test drove the vehicle then waited on the deal to be presented to us. We definitely did not appreciate the approach as well as them wasting our time, so we wanted to be done with continuing any business with them. They would not bring our current vehicle back up front, then a manager walked by and took over the deal as he overheard our frustration. Nabeel lost all customer service, his entire persona changed. After financing was complete, I was sent to walk out in the rain, back to Nabeel with only verbal directions. After giving my license plate to Nabeel, he installed it, then left me in the rain alone to transfer all my belongings from my previous car to my new vehicle. Michael also worked with our deal, he had great customer service, but unfortunately was not the lead on our deal. I was a previous customer and was pleased to return to Ron Carter, but after this experience I will most likely look into another direction next time. More

If you're buying from out of town, you're likely out of sight and out of mind. The manager, Steven Harmon, did a poor job of "handling" the situation we found ourselves in. 11 days after going into this de sight and out of mind. The manager, Steven Harmon, did a poor job of "handling" the situation we found ourselves in. 11 days after going into this dealer I'm left frustrated with an expensive paper weight in my driveway due to a complete lack of communication and documentation. If not for Liz and Justin helping me with this situation, I don't know when I'd be able to drive the purchased vehicle. We flew in from out of state to drive home our new truck, assured that the recall maintenance would have been performed by 10am Feb 16th. Low and behold, Steven alerted us that the wrong parts were ordered for the recall and that they wouldn't have parts until the 18th. Being that we had had flown in, he made us "whole" by taking the cost of the airfare, hotel and rental off the cost of the truck. They also absorbed the cost of shipping the vehicle to us from TX to FL. We worked with Eli in sales and Jonathan in finance to initially sign for the purchase of the vehicle knowing that we'd have to sign again once the recall was completed to make things official. So far so good. Once I got back home, I expected to be updated periodically with what was happening concerning the dealership getting me my vehicle (especially after paying a sizable down payment). I was not contacted once with a status update on the vehicle. I understand that parts coming in is out of the dealer's control, but when the parts don't arrive on time, an update would have been nice so that I could know when to expect my vehicle. I heard nothing from Steven on any of the days they were supposed to get parts (Wed, Fri, Mon). Steven said he'd call me "good, bad or ugly" on the following Wed to let me know if parts came in, and then he didn't. He claimed he was waiting to call me after the recall maintenance was performed. Do you think that he called to let me know that the recall maintenance had been performed? No. Do you think that he called to let me know when the vehicle was put on a truck to transport? No. How about when that transport company would be around so I could make myself available? No. I hate feeling like I'm pestering someone, but with that much money on the line and the logistics not being clear, I expected communication at milestones. To top it all off, the paperwork which needed officiating after the recall was never sent for completion, and they TRANSPORTED IT WITHOUT ANY REGISTRATION/TAGS. When trying to remedy this problem, Steven was suddenly unavailable. I left a voicemail and one of the employees said that they'd alert him as soon as he stepped out of a meeting. After 4 hours, I never received a phone call. Big thanks to Liz noticing that I had called 3 times that day and getting me in contact with GM(?) Justin. After talking with Justin, I was finally able to get tags/registration overnighted and paperwork finalized. So maybe on day 12 I'll actually be able to drive this thing... More
